In 2005 the previous SOFA conference was a little bit unusual as it was held in two cities in two countries, started in Szeged-Hungary and finished in Arad-Romania.
To keep the unique feature regarding the venue IEEE-SOFA 2007 conference will be held in Gyula-Hungary and Oradea-Romania.

Internet
At both venues there will be Internet facilities for the workshop participants.

Language
The official language of the conference will be English.

Social programs
- 21 August 2007, evening - Welcome Party at Hotel Park, Gyula (included in the registration fee) followed by recreation in the Castle Bath in Gyula (individual and optional, not included in the registration fee)

- 22 August 2007 Barbecue Party in the garden hotel near the the open air  swimming pool (Hotel Continental Oradea)

Passport and visa
You will need a valid passport to enter Hungary. You are responsible for arranging a  visa if required. Invitation letters for visa purposes will be issued for registered participants upon request.
IMPORTANT! Hungary, as is the case with most European countries, requires that your passport be valid at least 90 days after you return to your country of citizenship.

Insurance
The Organizers of the Conference do not provide insurance and do not take responsibility for any loss, accident or illness that might occur during the Conference or in the course of travel to or from the meeting site. It is, therefore, the responsibility of the participants to check their coverage with their insurance provider.

Bank, currency, credit cards
The unit of currency is the Hungarian Forint (HUF), denoted as "Ft" by the Hungarians. International credit cards (AmEx, EC/MC, Visa) are accepted at most hotels, restaurants and shops. Weather
Hungary is in the temperate zone, weather in August is usually nice and warm. Daily temperature ranges from 27oC to 30oC and the relative humidity is below 20%, however light showers might occur.

Voltage
The electricity supply in Hungary is 220 V AC (50 Hz)
